The macro head allows for precisely positioning camera in one axis. This kind of head is very useful for macro photography, photo documentation, etc. It consist of gib mounted on tripod and rail with centimeter scale, sliding along one axis. The gib has knob for precise positioning and locking screw.

The rail has two 1/4" screws for mount camera, placed in 8cm oblong holes, what gives wide range of camera positioning or allows to mount two cameras, fer ex. for stereoscopic photography. In the center of rail is socket with 3/8" thread and 1/4" adapter for mount different range of accessories. At the bottom of  gib is 1/4" tripod socket.

All parts are metal made. Top surface of rail is lined with rubber, what makes camera mount more stable and protects it aganist scratching.
