Polarizing filter B + W from the KSM HTC MRC nano Master series is characterized by a durable, brass frame and MRC nano coatings resistant to water, dust, dust, dirt and scratches.

The MRC nano Master series filter holders are made of brass, a very durable material that ensures many years of product use. Brass is a harder material than aluminum, it is also more resistant to dents, abrasions and temperature changes, thanks to which the housings do not jam when used in high temperatures, as is the case with aluminum rings. In order to eliminate unwanted glare, the frames are painted black matte.

MRC (Multi-Resistant Coating) nano series filters are covered with multilayer anti-reflective coatings, increasing the throughput of the optical glass from which the filter is made. At the same time, the coatings protect the filter from damage. They are characterized by very high resistance to water, dust, dirt and scratches. Filters with MRC nano coatings can be safely used in difficult weather conditions, they can also be cleaned with a soft cloth without fear of damage.

The nano coating is an outer protective layer that is standard on all XS-Pro Digital, Master and T-PRO filters. Thanks to the use of nanotechnology in the outer protective layer, these filters are characterized by a much lower surface adhesion of water and water vapor. Filter cleaning is easier and faster than ever before.

B + W filters are made of the highest quality Schott optical glass, characterized by high homogeneity and cohesiveness. Filters are cut with diamond blades from glass cylinders, instead of - as is often the case - from flat "panes". Then each filter is carefully polished, smoothed and subjected to a series of tests. First of all, its thickness, surface evenness and repeatability of results are the most important. In the case of B + W filters, there is no annoying greenish shade of photos.

The polarizing filter enables the reduction of reflections on surfaces such as water or glass. It also improves the contrast of the photo and the color saturation in the sky. A special coating on the filter thread facilitates assembly and disassembly, and the new adjustment ring guarantees reliable manipulation and grip.
