Yongnuo YN968N II is a refreshed version of the innovative reporting lamp YN 968N. This reporter flash has been equipped with a new torch zoom mechanism that allows it to be adjusted in the range of 20 - 200 mm. In addition, the new version of the lamp has a refreshed menu interface.

A characteristic feature of the YN986N II is the head, equipped with two light sources: a flash burner and a panel with LEDs. The lamp generates a flash with a guide number of GN 60 (ISO 100, 200mm). High power combined with short charging times guarantees immediate readiness for action at any time. In adverse lighting conditions, the LED panel comes in handy to help you focus and correctly frame the scene.

The lamp head offers an extremely wide range of motion, which makes it easy to quickly set the torch in the desired direction. The automatic (and manual) zoom of the lamp, diffusers (for both light sources) and the reflector allow for creative selection of lighting for the selected scene.

The Yongnuo lamp is equipped with a synchronization mode with fast shutter speeds HSS (up to 1/8000 s) and the system of automatic selection of TTL flash power, functions extremely useful in changing lighting conditions.

Readable LCD display with backlight and refreshed intuitive and feature-rich menu ensure comfort of use. Large, comfortable buttons allow you to operate the lamp even when wearing gloves. You can turn on and turn off the beeps indicating that the battery is charging and ready to flash again.

The built-in radio receiver enables wireless communication in the Yongnuo YN622 and YN560 systems. YN968N can be used as a "master" unit to control other YN968N, YN685 lamps and YN622N, YN622N II triggers. In slave mode, YN968N can receive radio signals from other YN968N lamps and YN622N, YN622N II, YN622N-TX, YN560-TX, RF605, RF-603 triggers.

YN986N II can also be used in an optical flash control system. In the slave mode, the lamp can receive an optical signal from the Yongnuo YN568EX II, Nikon SB-700, SB-800, SB-900, SB-910 lamps. The flash can also be triggered by a flash in manual mode S1 and S2. This enables basic wireless communication with almost all flash units available on the market. The built-in PC port also allows the flash to be released via a cable.

Yongnuo YN968N II is powered by four AA batteries. The lamp has a socket for connecting additional power supply and a mini USB port for software updates. The lamp foot has been protected against adverse weather conditions by a rubber seal.

The lamp comes with a practical cover, CTO filter for the LED panel and a stand with a 1/4 ”female tripod mount.
