The Newell C8 universal battery charger, compatible with most of available cylindrical rechargeable batteries. The big LCD display shows voltage, current, charging time, internal resistance and battery level – it allows to see recharge process status and battery condition. The case allows to charge even biggest batteries (type C or 22650) in all 8 channels at once.

Features:

• Auto or manual current setting - in default the charger automatically sets charge current based on battery characteristic. It is also possibility to set current manually in range 100mA to 1000mA (on all 8 channels).
• Battery type - The Newell Smart C4 charger automatically recognizes battery type Li-ion 4,2 V and NiMH/NiCd 1,48 V. (The LiFEP04 and Li-ion 4,35 V are not recognized - have to be set manually).
• Measuring of internal ressistance and capacity of battery - before start of charging process the charger checks internal ressistance and estimates battery's capacity. Both parameters are show on LCD.
• Professional capacity estimating - after finish recharge process on LCD is shown estimated battery capacity. The charger allows also more precise capacity estimating by charge and recharge process. This function is available only in 8th channel.
• Multi protection system - protections aganist putting battery in wrong way, short circuit protection, overload protection make recharge process safe and energy saving.
• Regeneration of unduly discharged Li-Ion batteries - most of chargers can not recharge undully discharged batteries, or with 0V voltage. The Newell Smart C8 recognizes this kind of malfunction and will try to reactivate and fix this Li-Ion battery. Unfortunately sometimes unduly discharged batteries get permanently damaged and can not be fixed.
