JJC FDA-S1 is a set for digitizing negatives from 35mm film, supplemented with a LED lamp. The accessory is aimed at enthusiasts of analog photography, working with 35mm films. The set helps to efficiently convert the image from the film to a digital file made with a camera.
The set includes dedicated mounting adapters for mounting on lenses. For several selected lenses, the manufacturer has provided dedicated schemes to facilitate the use of adapters. The adapters are made of aluminum and finished inside with a matte black painting.
The adapters are attached directly to the holder for mounting the film rails. The holder has an adjustable tube, thanks to which it is possible to adjust the optimal frame to photograph the film negative. The milky plate located behind the mounting to the rails is responsible for the proper illumination and contrast of the photographed film. In the FDA-S1 set, an LED lamp equipped with 42 LEDs with a color temperature of 6500K can be used to illuminate the film. The power of the lamp is controlled by the remote control in the USB cable, which also powers it. The controller in the cable allows you to adjust the intensity of light in 10 steps. The lamp with the entire digitizing set can be placed on the table thanks to the retractable support or placed on a tripod by attaching it to the 1/4" screw.
Stable positioning of the tape with negatives is possible thanks to a dedicated rail for 6 frames. A special latch allows for efficient replacement of the tape, and the slots at both its ends allow for its convenient sliding. The second rail is used to digitize previously cut and prepared individual frames.
It can be used to photograph 35mm film and is compatible with the following select lenses:
