Yongnuo YN24EX is a macro flash with two flash heads designed for the Sony system. The device consists of several elements: a control unit, a ring with a rail, two flash heads and a set of adapters for mounting on the front of the lens. The lamp has a Sony Multi Interface system shoe. Yongnuo YN24EX will be successfully used in many fields of photography, including macro photography, technical photography, documentary photography and can even be used in dentistry or prosthetics.

The main element of the Yongnuo YN24EX is the control unit attached with a hot shoe to a dedicated socket in the camera. It has a clear and intuitive control panel with a large LCD screen. On its both edges, one flash head was attached with spiral wires. Each of the heads has an additional LED light source supporting the AF system in the camera. The flash heads have 1/4" sockets, thanks to which they can be mounted on small tripods in close proximity to the controller. In addition, each flash head has a dedicated hook for the ring with a rail, which is attached to the lens using adapters.

The Yongnuo YN24EX lamp works in two flash modes: M and TTL. In addition, the device allows you to divide the flash power in predefined proportions. The lamp is powered by four AA batteries. Depending on the level of battery wear and their capacity, the lamp is able to fire from 200 to 2500 flashes. The flash charge time is approximately 3 seconds.
