The Commlite ND Fader is a nautral density filter with the possibility of smooth dimming in the range of 8 exposure stops (NDx2-NDx400). The dimming is changed by turning the front filter ring. The design consists of two high-class filters which, by turning towards each other, change the polarity. The result of this phenomenon is cutting off a smaller or larger part of the light.
