Yongnuo YN685EX-RF is a reporter lamp dedicated to Sony cameras. The lamp will successfully work in the demanding conditions of wedding reportage or as an element of setup for a strobist. The device works in manual, strobe and TTL modes. YN685EX-RF has a built-in receiver and transmitter compatible with Yongnuo lamps and transmitters and receivers. An additional advantage of the speedlight is the ability to synchronize the flash in the HSS mode.
Key features:
The Yongnuo YN685EX-RF lamp is equipped with a head with a burner with a guide number of GN60 (for ISO 100, burner zoom 200mm). The element can be rotated in two planes, which gives a wide range of possibilities - especially when working in the SLAVE mode. The lamp has three modes of operating the flash. The standard manual mode allows you to adjust the flash power in the range of 1/128 to 1/1 in 8 steps. The second mode is based on automatic exposure measurement from the camera level, i.e. TTL, in this mode it is possible to compensate the flash power in the range of +/- 3EV. The last mode is a classic strobe mode with the ability to trigger many short flashes in a specific time buffer. Convenient operation of the device is ensured by an intuitive menu and a clear LCD screen.
The key function of the Yongnuo YN685EX-RF lamp is the flash synchronization mode in HSS mode. This allows you to synchronize the flash with short shutter times up to 1/8000s.
Yongnuo YN685EX-RF has a built-in 2.4GHz receiver that allows communication with dedicated Yongnuo transmitters (and lamps). The device works within 16 channels and 3 flash groups. In addition, the YN-685 has been equipped with a PC socket, an additional power supply connector (battery pack) and a bracket mount, which will especially please all portraitists and wedding photographers.
